COMMENTS :
This vessel is a former pearling industry support vessel as well as having operated as a prawn trawler in the Gulf of Carpentaria.

For conversion into a mothership all the fishing equipment was removed; the wheelhouse was extended on the upper deck with six additional cabins installed. The lower deck freezer hold was converted into additional accommodation. Additional toilets and showers were installed giving the vessel a total of 12 cabins that can sleep 27 Passengers and crew. The current owners purchased the vessel in December 2015 and commenced a refit to suit their company’s specific requirements. The vessel was slipped and the external hull was blasted above and below the water line, new protective coatings applied, along with new anodes and tyre fenders.

They are now rationalising their pearling operation and have listed the vessel for sale.
This special vessel can be utilised in a wide range of activities such as being used as a remote sight accommodation vessel, a dive & surfing charter boat, it could also be converted into a fish processing mothership or cargo transport vessel.
