Built – 1984 for Allied Fisheries as a scallop boat
Designer – Mike Seaward. One of 14 of this design
Motor - Scania DS11 320 hp coupled to Twin Disc MG509 4.5 : 1.
Hydraulic pump direct coupled from front of Scania.
Fish holds – 2 (15 & 7 tonne)
Fuel tanks – 2 x 5500 litres
Water tanks – 2 x 3400 litres
Ballast tank – 1 x 5000 litres
Electronics – Nil
Survey – AMSA 3B to 9/8/22.
Vessel under a five year survey schedule, but will require 12 month periodic inspection

Comment : This vessel is presently on the hardstand where the hull has just been ultra tested – being at 300mm intervals of the underwater surface and approx. 600 mm above the chine
Average readings showed thickness of 5.8mm over the hull and 11mm along the keel. The only areas requiring attention were in the chain locker. Conclusion of the AMSA surveyor was "hull plating is in very good condition". The surveyor also inspected the water and fuel tanks finding them to be "in excellent condition structurally". The present owner is mid way through a refurbishment of the vessel and there is still more work to be done. It is expected an overall outlay of $200,000 will bring this vessel back to a presentable and workable fishing vessel.
Prospective buyers should treat this offering as a "hull only with main motor" It is suitable for multiple fisheries.
