General description – Welded steel construction.
Flush deck & twin skegs. Divided by 8 transverse watertight bulkheads and 3 longitudinal watertight bulkheads into 33 compartments.

Plating – deck 12mm, bottom 12mm, bulkheads 7 & 8mm
Classification – BV Designed suitable for registration as a deck cargo barge
Notation : 1*HUL, Pontoon, Unrestricted Navigation
Anchor winch – diesel driven anchor winch of approx. 10 ton capacity. Suitable for 200m x 30mm wire rope.
Anchor – 1 x 1590kg stocklass Bower
Tyre Fenders – 30 fitted with chain.
Manholes – 1 to each tank & void compartments (600mm x 400mm clear opening)

Painting – Sandblasted (to Sa 2.5 ISO 8501-1 & primed before fabrication with one coat of shop prime)

After fabrication, all welds seams, damage, burnt areas spot blasted to 2.5 Swedish standard for external steel surfaces or power tool cleaned to ST3 standard. Marine primers and then top coat.
Cathodic protection – 40 x 15kg zinc anodes
